Yes, the Siachen Glacier is the world’s highest battlefield, located in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh, India. It lies at an altitude of around 5,400 meters (17,700 feet) above sea level and is situated near the Line of Control (LoC) between India and Pakistan.

Since 1984, when India launched Operation Meghdoot to secure the glacier, Indian and Pakistani forces have been stationed in this extreme terrain.
